Animal Abuse Case Clarification

                             Red Deer and District SPCA is concerned about the number of calls we have fielded recently in regard to an alleged animal abuse case where we have been incorrectly named and criticized by Kraze 101.3 and community members as the enforcement agency.

Red Deer & District SPCA has no details regarding this case. The case is under investigation by RCMP and Alberta SPCA and any questions may be directed to them at 1 800 455 9003 in Edmonton.

Red Deer & District SPCA is a Humane Education and Animal Care Centre that shelters and finds families for abandoned and stray pets. We have no bylaw enforcement or animal protection authority.
