Red Deer & District SPCA

Red Deer & District SPCA has been in operation for more than three decades thanks to the generosity of its community.  Monetary donations maintain our many programs and services, and have recently enabled our organization to build a wonderful new Humane Education and Animal Care Centre.

We also appreciate donations of items on our Wish List.  Now that we have a retail store, many of these items - including pet food, toys and accessories - are literally within arm's reach for our staff!  Your thoughtfulness and generosity will go even further when you purchase items from our store and donate them back to our SPCA.  All donations of goods purchased here will receive charitabe tax receipts.

Our Wish List  includes items we do not currently stock, as well; donations of these goods are very welcome, and they may be brought to us at our new Centre, 4505 77 Street in Red Deer, during the following hours:

• "Kuranda Beds" - Kuranda’s “Donate A Bed” program enables individuals to donate beds to our facility at discounted prices. The donation will be sent directly to our facility in your name. Your donated bed is 30% to 35% off of the retail price. Our goal is to have enough Kuranda Beds for each of our 29 dog kennels. Thanks to some very generous donors, we are only in need of a few more beds!
